Category Description:
Between Curliss Road and Half Acre Road sit two railserved industries, at least at one time they were railserved. The first is Georgia Pacific. This warehouse took construction supplies. I model it as receiving bulkhead flatcars of lumber, and an occassional box car of other supplies.

Just east of Georgia Pacific is Cincinnati Milicron. Cincinnati Milicron makes large manufacturing machines, like multi-axis milling machines. I decided to model this as an abandoned siding, representing the multiple sidings no longer in use along the Peavine, and for another reason...

The notch in the foundation made this location a perfect place to model these two sidings. In real life, they do turn away from the mainline at a ninety degree angle. Using 18 inch radius here, I was able to represent that. But because the notch is impossibly hard to reach, I decided to model Milicron as abandoned, and the cars for Georgia Pacific will actually be spotted near the front of the layout.
